The World Rugby Sevens Series 2018\/2019 ignites this weekend with the traditional first tournament of the series taking place in Dubai and followed up a week later by the hugely popular Cape Town Sevens tournament.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

The Blitzbokke are going for an incredible third series win on the trot, but face stiff competition in the shape of Fiji and New Zealand – the two other traditional Sevens powerhouses.<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

Ten cities play host this season that runs from this weekend through to June 2019 with the tournaments played in the now familiar two-week back-to-back format.<\/h4>\n
