The Sharks and Bulls scored crucial wins while the Stormers and Lions suffered extremely costly losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sharks outgunned Benetton 43-33 and the Bulls thumped Zebre 78-12 to stay in the top eight, after which the local challenge experienced a change of fortunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lions suffered a heart-breaking 39-36 loss to Leinster that dashed their playoff hopes and the Stormers\u2019 unbeaten record at home came to an end at the worst possible time as their 26-24 defeat to Munster saw them drop from second to third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team consists of six Bulls, five Sharks, two Lions and two Stormers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div   id="7rtdq1biye"    class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div   id="7rtdq1biye"    class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-text-color has-background no-border-radius\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bet.machibet777-affiliate.com\/sports\/rugby-union\/the-rugby-championship\/\" style=\"background-color:#f2a12a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bet Now: Rugby<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"green\">15: Kurt-Lee Arendse (Bulls)<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Attacking the point of difference in terms of his creativity. Beat six defenders, made three clean breaks and ran for 109 metres \u2013 all unrivalled numbers on the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"green\">10: Giovanni Lombard (Lions)<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The open game was right up his alley. Stole no less than three of Zebre\u2019s lineouts, scored two tries and put in work on defence, covering good ground to dislodge the ball in a tackle on one occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"green\">3: Thomas du Toit (Sharks)<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Colossal all around. Won two pressure-relieving breakdown penalties in the first quarter and delivered a commanding scrummaging performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"green\">2: Johan Grobbelaar (Bulls)<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Schalk Burger\u2019s \u201coutstanding player of the game.\u201d Clinical with his lineout throwing, slowed the ball down at the breakdown, showed his ball skills with some silky touches, and expertly broke the line and drew the last defender to put the next man in our team in for a try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"green\">1: Gerhard Steenekamp (Bulls) &#8211; Player Of The Week<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Great work rate.
