Another bumper midweek of DSTV Premiership action with most of the big names in action including Supersport United, Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City. We’ve created a lovely multi for Wednesday’s matches.
15:00 – Bloem Celtic v Cape Town City
Cape Town City are without a head coach and without a win in two matches. They face Bloem Celtic who are not yet safe from relegation and without a win in five. City have also won the last three head to heads between the two sides by at least two goals. Also, over 75% of both clubs matches have seen over 1.5 goals.
17:00 – Kaizer Chiefs v Swallows FC
Kaizer Chiefs cannot seem to find any consistency and are winless in three matches in the league. They face their Soweto neighbours Swallows FC who have drawn four consecutive matches 1-1. Swallows did beat Chiefs 1-0 earlier in the season but I predict more goals in this one.
17:00 – Supersport Utd v TTM
TTM are fresh off winning the Nedbank Cup but the reality is they are in a relegation scrap. They face Supersport who have not won a league match in 10 matches (7 draws). I think Supersport will break their winless streak in this one against a TTM side still riding high after cup success.
