PSL Gameweek 1 Betting Tips – Multiple at 14.00 For You

PSL Gameweek 1 Betting Tips – Multiple at 14.00 For You – OptaJabu has crunched the numbers and we’ve crafted a lovely PSL multiple for you.

It’s the first gameweek of the new DSTV Premiership and there are already some intriguing clashes to look forward to. Outside of the big match of the weekend, (Chiefs v ‘Downs) we’ve selected four matches with the help of OptaJabu to come up with a tasty and value laden PSL multiple.

15:00 – Bloemfontein Celtic v Golden Arrows

Should both teams continue their end-season form, Celtic will be confident of a win here. Siwelele scored 10 goals in the bio-bubble (the second best total of all top-flight sides), while Arrows were the only side that failed to score from open play. Arrows have not won a league match away from KZN that did not feature Baroka since April 2018, and travel to a side fresh from knocking out the defending league champions in the MTN8. That said, Celtic have only won one of their last eight opening day fixtures, drawing two & losing the other five.

0 – Bloemfontein Celtic are unbeaten at home in the league in 2020 (Won 4 Drew 4), and are one of only two sides with an unbeaten home record this year.

18:00 – Cape Town City v Chippa

The Erasmus-less Citizens are back in action on Saturday evening, looking to start life without their talismanic forward. There is a 13-goal gap left by Erasmus’ departure that must be filled if City are to push on from four consecutive top-six finishes in the league. The “bio-bubble champions” were crowned Q4 winners at the end of last season, and are also unbeaten in four opening day games (Won 3 Drew 1).

Cape Town City are unbeaten at home in the league this calendar year (Won 7 Drew 1), and are one of only two sides coming into the new season with an unbeaten 2020 home record.

20:15 – Supersport v Leopards

Supersport have not lost to Leopards at home in any competition since April 2007, when Hlompo Kekana played for Leopards, Pitso Mosimane coached Supersport and Andre Arendse was the Supersport goalkeeper. Yes, it’s been THAT long. However, Supersport have won just once and scored just once in their last six opening-day games.

20:15 – AmaZulu v Orlando Pirates

Fresh from an MTN8 quarter-final win, Pirates will be looking to build on that impressive result when they visit AmaZulu in Durban on Saturday night. The two sides have previously met on the opening day, with Usuthu running out 1-0 winners thanks to Bongani Ndulula’s goal in 2013. But, Pirates enjoy the better record overall.

1- Orlando Pirates have lost just once to AmaZulu in their 19 games in all competitions since 2010, winning seven and drawing the other 11.
