Brighton v Tottenham (Saturday)

Another tough test is on the horizon for both Brighton and Tottenham after both sides come off the back of facing Liverpool and Arsenal respectively. The hosts’ result, however, was a positive one as they held the Reds to a 3-3 draw at Anfield, while Spurs suffered a 3-1 defeat to their London rivals. This fixture looks to have goals written all over it.

Arsenal v Liverpool (Sunday)

Premier League leaders, Arsenal, welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as the Gunners look to stretch clear at the summit of the table. It seems as if these two sides have swapped places from last season as Arsenal have won all of their home matches this term, while Liverpool are just about in the top half of the log and are winless away from home.

Atletico Madrid v Girona (Saturday)

Following a defeat in the Madrid derby to current Spanish champions, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid got their season back on track and claimed a resounding 2-0 victory away to Sevilla. They now host a Girona team who have lost back-to-back matches and are yet to win on the road this campaign.

Barcelona v Celta Vigo (Sunday)

Barcelona moved to the top of the LaLiga standings after claiming their sixth successive win last weekend. They have been faultless this term and boast the record of being the highest scorers in the league and have the best defence. Celta Vigo have lost two of their three away games.

Stuttgart v Union Berlin (Sunday)

Stuttgart have had a difficult start to the new campaign and find themselves hovering above the relegation zone. The hosts are the most draw-laden team in the German Bundesliga, drawing five times, while they are still in search of their first win of the season. Union Berlin are top of the standings, winning five of their opening eight matches.

Bochum v Eintracht Frankfurt (Sunday)

Bochum’s season could take another turn for the worst when they host Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday. The hosts are bottom of the standings, winless in the German Bundesliga and have lost seven of their eight encounters. Eintracht Frankfurt have won back-to-back matches and beat log-leaders, Union Berlin, last weekend. They’re also yet to lose on the road.

Cremonese v Napoli (Sunday)

Napoli will be looking to build on their impressive start to the season when they face Cremonese on Sunday. The visitors won their fourth successive game last weekend and are still unbeaten after eight ties. Cremonese are second from bottom in the Italian Serie A and are yet to win this term.

Udinese have been the surprise package of the season and are in third place in the Italian Serie A standings. They’re one point behind joint-leaders and opponents, Atalanta. The hosts have won six games in a row, while Atalanta are unbeaten this term and have won six of their eight fixtures. With both sides in excellent form, goals are the way to go here.

Marseille v Ajaccio (Saturday)

Being just two points behind the log leaders, Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille will be hoping to remain within touching distance of the champions when they host Ajaccio this weekend. The hosts are unbeaten this season and have won four of their five home ties. Ajaccio are bottom of the standings in the French Ligue 1 and have scored the least amount of goals in the league.
