Daily La Liga Betting Tips – 19 June 2020

La Liga is certainly back and it’s a seriously congested schedule for all clubs who have to play 11 games in the space of 38 days.

We preview and provide betting tips for Granada v Villareal, Mallorca v Leganes and Sevilla v Barcelona. There will be dailyLa Liga betting tips for the rest of the season.

19:30 – Granada CF  v Villarreal

Granada host Villarreal hoping to extend a 6-match unbeaten run (W3, D3). A 2-1 win for Granada meant 9 of their last 10 home saw the winner win by a 1-goal margin. Encouragingly, Granada are unbeaten in 75% of their home matches entered as the bookies’ outsiders (W1, D2, L1).

A league-high 11 of Villarreal’s 15 away matches this campaign have seen goals at both teams score and over 2.5 total goals on 11 occasions across that period. Over half saw a 2-1 scoreline either way. Interestingly, the reverse fixture ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw.

19:30 – Mallorca v Leganes

A 1-0 defeat in midweek made it 2 consecutive losses ‘to nil’ for Mallorca since the restart, and 8 of their 11 league games in 2020 have now seen just one side score (W3, D1, L7). Positively, the hosts are yet to lose at home when scoring first this LL season (W6, D1).

Leganés have lost their last 2 matches and have scored first in just 1 of their 11 league matches this calendar year. Away from home, Leganéshave won only once this season (D5, L8), with 7 of the 8 defeats coming ‘to nil’. Furthermore, they’ve averaged a league-worst 0.57 goals netted per away game.

22:00 – Sevilla  v Barcelona

Sevilla are unbeaten in 6 matches (W3, D3), but the 3 draws could have been wins considering they scored first – and then conceded an equaliser in the same half – in each one. Interestingly, they’ve also netted the opener in 4 straight league matches against Barcelona at this venue but won just once (W1, D1, L2).

Unbeaten in six LL home games (W3, D3), and have conceded just 0.93 goals on average per LL game here, Sevilla can cause the reigning champions problems. Although the last match between the two ended in 4-0 in the Catalans favour at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona’s 2-0 win in midweek was their third victory in succession and their fifth consecutive game where just one side scored. The log leaders have lost nearly as many games as they’ve won away this LL season (W6, D3, L5).
