Good day punter family, let’s try again for another weekend train. Last week, we came close with 11/13 selections going our way. Again, be mindful that some teams had mid-week games, so don’t wager too much. Also, if you can afford, split the slip in maybe two or three selections, some of my followers won like that last week. Good luck and as always, only bet with what you can afford to lose.
Friday
Dortmund v Hoffenheim: over 1.5 goals – 1.13 odds
Dortmund have shown last weekend that they shouldn’t be trusted with straight wins, but goals instead. This game shouts goals! 5/5 BVB games had over 2.5 goals, 4/5 Hoffenheim games had over 2.5 goals, too and 8/10 direct clashes had over 2.5 goals as well.
Hellas v Inter: over 1.5 goals – 1.25 odds
Another game that shouts goals. 8/9 Inter had over 2.5 games and 6/7 direct clashes between the two sides had over 2.5 goals. Inter looked very good in their first game, so Inter to win either half also worth looking at.
Al Ahly v Aswan: Al Ahly over 1.5 goals – 1.29 odds
Al Ahly have missed out on the Egyptian Premier League but I’m sure Pitso Mosimane wants to end the season on a high. They have scored two or more goals in their last seven games vs Aswan, winning all of them. Mosimane has left some of his key players out of his squad. I still believe in the selection, but you can leave it out to play it safe.
Saturday
West Ham v Palace: over 1.5 goals – 1.33 odds
West Ham have started the new season on fire, scoring eight goals in two league games but also conceded in both. Palace are yet to score, but I don’t think their defence can keep West Ham out. The last nine direct clashes at had over 1.5 goals, 6/9 even had over 2.5 goals
Betis v Real: over 1.5 goals – 1.23 odds
Real Madrid will be more exciting to watch under Carlo Ancelotti but also less reliable in terms of wins as their game against at Levante has shown. They had over 2.5 goals in 4/5 games, while Betis started the season with two 1-1 draws.
Bayern v Hertha: Bayern over 1.5 goals – 1.19 odds
Bayern Munich are slowly getting into their stride in the Bundesliga, having scored 12 in the German Cup in midweek. Hertha, meanwhile, lost both their first two games, conceding five goals. Both teams saw over 2.5 goals in 4/5 games.
Juventus v Empoli: Juventus over 1.5 goals – 1.30 odds
Juventus saw over 2.5 goals scored in 10/10 games – incredible actually. They started Serie A with a 2-2 draw, while Empoli lost 3-1 to Lazio. Juventus have won 14/16 games vs Empoli, including their last eight in a row.
RB Salzburg v Hartberg: Salzburg over 1.5 goals – 1.22 odds
RB Salzburg look to have overcome their player sales, starting their league campaign with five wins and 15 goals. They have also won 7/8 direct clashes vs Hartberg and scored an incredible 34 goals between those (that’s an average of 4.2).
Porto v Arouca: Porto over 1.5 goals – 1.38 odds
Porto let us down last week, so be cautious or leave them out if you want. They are among my trusted teams though and I think they will deliver this time. They have won 7/8 games v Auroca, scoring 24 goals in those.
Familicao v Sporting: Sporting win or draw – 1.13 odds
Sporting started the season with three wins, while Familicao lost three games. Sporting have not won any of their last four games vs Familicao and I think they will be out to end this run. Going with win/draw to make it safer.
Sunday
Genoa v Napoli: over 1.5 goals – 1.25 odds
Napoli started the new Serie A campaign with a 2-0 despite playing with 10 man for large parts, while Genoa were hammered 4-0 by Inter. This game had over 2.5 in 4/4, with Napoli winning three of those ties.
Salernitana v Roma: Roma win or draw – 1.18 odds
Roma look good in the early days under Jose Mourinho, winning their first three games under the outspoken coach. Salernitana are a newly promoted side and lost their opener 3-2. I think Roma should at least get a point, if you don’t trust them go with over 1.5 goals.
Velje v Copenhagen: Copenhagen win or draw – 1.18 odds
Copenhagen have won 4/5 games in the league so far, while Velje lost 4/5. Copenhagen are unbeaten against Velje in nine games and have won seven of those.
Blaegovgrad v Ludogorets: Ludogorets win – 1.37 odds
Ludogorets won their first three league games, while their opponents lost three out of four. Ludogorets have also won 6/8 direct clashes between the two.
