European Football betting

What a rollercoaster week it has been as we’re finally over the hurdle of the first round of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Some of Europe’s biggest heavyweights got to test their might in the continent’s elite tournament, but now have to revert their attention back to domestic football as there remains plenty to still fight for across Europe’s big leagues. With that being said, let’s dive straight into the madness!Last weekend proved to be a difficult weekend for punters, little did we know part of the reason behind it was down to the fact that some of Europe’s biggest clubs were conspiring against the greatest football bodies to kick-start the European Super League. That idea seems to be watered down after the 12th man intervened, so hopefully we can get back to winning ways as football soon becomes the sport we all know it to be.

We cater for everybody here at BET Central, so let’s see what’s cooking on the menu this week:

Premier League

Chelsea v Fulham (Saturday)

Chelsea v Fulham (Saturday)

Chelsea face their closest rivals, geographically, as they meet Scott Parker’s side at Stamford Bridge, which resides in Fulham Road. The Blues pulled out a stellar performance in midweek to earn a 1-1 draw in Spain against Real Madrid, while Thomas Tuchel’s side also come off the back of an emphatic 1-0 victory at West Ham United last weekend. Fulham have not won in the league since they beat Liverpool 1-0 back in the first week of March, which came six matches ago in Premier League terms.

Newcastle v Arsenal (Sunday)

Arsenal’s domestic form will once again have to take the back seat as their UEFA Europa League bout against Villarreal will be high on their priority list. The Gunners will go into their game against Newcastle off the back of an away trip to Spain on Thursday, while Mikel Arteta’s side will also have the second leg in London on their minds. Newcastle have been brilliant in recent weeks and are currently unbeaten in four league ties. In that run, they held Tottenham and Liverpool to a draw, while they also managed to beat Burnley and West Ham United.

Serie A

Crotone v Inter Milan (Saturday)

David takes on Goliath in this top verse bottom clash as 20th-placed Crotone gear up to host log-leaders Inter Milan. The visitors are 11 points clear with five games to go in the Italian Serie A, and with no European football interrupting their pursuit of a title, Inter will be hoping to wrap things up early. Crotone have lost 11 of their 16 home matches, while Antonio Conte’s men have claimed 10 victories from 17 away ties.

AC Milan v Benevento (Saturday)

AC Milan will be looking to get back to winning ways and move back to the UEFA Champions League spots after losing two consecutive matches in the Italian Serie A. Milan are level on points with third-placed Juventus, and will fancy their chances against a Benevento side that are without a win in their last five Serie A encounters. Filippo Inzaghi is now at the helm of Benevento, who will always be known as one of Milan’s greatest strikers ever.

Primera Liga

Sporting v Nacional (Saturday)

Once again, top meets bottom as log-leading Sporting welcomes the lowest ranked team in the Portuguese top-flight to their turf. Sporting are the only team in the division unbeaten on home soil this season. In fact, the hosts are yet to taste defeat throughout the entire campaign and could end off as ‘Invincibles’. Nacional have lost their last five away games in the Portuguese league.

Eredivisie

ADO Den Haag v Feyenoord (Sunday)

The Dutch Eredivisie’s basement-dwellers, ADO Den Haag, will be hoping to break their dismal record of not being able to win a game at home this season when they host Feyenoord this Sunday. In 15 home matches, the hosts have lost nine and drawn the other six. Feyenoord are unbeaten in six ties and won on their last away trip, beating Utrecht 2-1 on the road.

La Liga

Eibar v Alaves (Saturday)

The end is nigh for Eibar in the top flight of the Spanish La Liga as the hosts lie bottom of the standings, failing to win in any of their last 16 league games. Being seven points off safety with just five matches to go suggests that Eibar’s time may be up as they’ll look to bow out fighting. Alaves have done what they always tend to do at the back end of every season and that’s pick up some form to achieve their targets. The visitors are unbeaten in four La Liga ties and find themselves as favourites coming into this weekend’s tie.

Valladolid v Real Betis (Sunday)

In what is expected to be one of the dullest affairs in the Spanish La Liga this weekend, Valladolid and Real Betis will be looking to prove the world wrong when they lock horns this Sunday. The home side have drawn four of their last six encounters, while Real Betis have drawn five consecutive ties in a row. Valladolid have been inconsistent on home soil, while Betis bode a similar record on the road.

Ligue 1

Bordeaux v Rennes (Sunday)

Bordeaux seem like they could be heading towards a late relegation scramble as they’re not safe being five points off with four matches to go in the French Ligue 1. The hosts have lost five games in a row with the last three ties lost by a three-goal margin. Rennes are undefeated in their last six encounters, winning five times in that period. The visitors are also on three-game winning streak, scoring nine goals in their last three matches.

Monaco v Lyon (Sunday)

Monaco will be looking to keep up their winning momentum as they square up against tricky opposition in the form of Lyon. The hosts are third in the league, but are just two points off the top, meaning they can leapfrog Lille and Paris Saint-Germain this weekend if results elsewhere work in their favour. Monaco have won five matches in a row without conceding, while Lyon come off the back of a home defeat against Lille. Before that, Monaco knocked Lyon of out of the domestic cup in France, beating them 2-0.

Suggested Bet: Monaco to win

Value Bet: Monaco to win to zero
