It’s that time of the week again when we run through a selection of the most exciting matches taking place this weekend and offer our best bets and value picks.

Man Utd v Everton (Saturday)

Manchester United welcome Everton to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday, with Erik ten Hag’s men eyeing a return to the top four. The Red Devils have already beaten the Toffees twice this season, winning 2-1 at Goodison Park in the league, before a 3-1 home victory in the FA Cup.

Southampton v Man City (Saturday)

Manchester City will be looking to continue their winning ways and keep the pressure on leaders Arsenal when they face bottom-side Southampton on Saturday. The Citizens are on a seven-game winning streak, while the Saints come off a 1-0 loss at West Ham, their 18th defeat of the Premier League campaign.

Osasuna v Elche (Saturday)

Osasuna will be eyeing their first win in five matches when they host Elche at the El Sadar Stadium. The Pamplona side went the whole of March without a league win, but a home tie against La Liga’s bottom-placed club provides an ideal opportunity to bag all three points.

Real Sociedad v Getafe (Saturday)

Real Sociedad will be looking to strengthen their grip on fourth place when they host Getafe. Imanol Alguacil’s men have a three-point lead over Real Betis in the race for the Champions League places and will be confident of picking up maximum points against a Getafe side still yet to win away from home this year.

Hertha Berlin v RB Leipzig (Saturday)

RB Leipzig have lost three of their last four Bundesliga games but are still only two points off the Champions League places. The Saxony-based side will look to claim maximum points against a Hertha Berlin side who languish near the foot of the table.

Freiburg v Bayern Munich (Saturday)

Bayern Munich will be looking to maintain their familiar position at the top of the Bundesliga, but they face a stern when they travel to face Freiburg who are looking to stay above RB Leipzig in the race for the Champions League places.

Lecce v Napoli (Friday)

Champions elect Napoli will be looking for an immediate return to winning ways after they were demolished 4-0 by AC Milan last time out. Luciano Spalletti’s side will be confident of seeing off 16th-placed Lecce who have lost their last five games, failing to score a goal in that run.

AC Milan v Empoli (Friday)

Following their thumping 4-0 away win over Napoli last time out, AC Milan will be confident of securing all three points against an Empoli side who have lost four of their last five league games. The Rossoneri have also won each of their last four meetings with the Azzurri.

Angers v Lille (Saturday)

Lille will be looking to continue their fine form when they travel to the Raymond Kopa Stadium on Saturday to face bottom-side Angers. The hosts are winless in their last 21 Ligue 1 matches, and the Mastiffs will be confident of a dominant performance.

Lorient v Marseille (Sunday)

Lorient have struggled to maintain their early season form and will expect a tough game when they entertain Marseille on Sunday. The Olympians are still in the Ligue 1 title race and will be confident of securing all three points against the Brittany-based side whom they’ve beaten seven times in a row.
