THE COOLER: BOKS FLOP, PIRATES TRIUMPH, SPURS STOP CHELSEA…

Well that was a bit of a disappointing way to end the November tour with the Springboks going down rather mildly to Wales. There have been some big improvements this year – even if the results don’t strictly show that winning only 50% of their Tests. Fiji’s defeat of France also calls into question the 2/4 wins the Boks scored this tour. Elsewhere there was Soweto Derby joy for Pirates and London derby joy for Spurs. It’s a good thing we’re talking about derby games with the North London and Merseyside derbies coming our way on Sunday!
