South Africa v Pakistan – Third T20I – 3 Bets to Take

South Africa v Pakistan – Third T20I – 3 Bets to Take. We provide three bets for this afternoon’s crunch T20 match.

IPL Betting

We’re nearing the end of a long summer of cricket between the Proteas and Pakistan. These two teams will lock horns once again in the third T20I at SuperSport Park. The series is currently all square at one apiece.

We look at the three bets to take for the third T20I.

South Africa to Win at 2.15

The Proteas have not had the best of times against Pakistan this year losing the Test and T20I series in Pakistan and then the ODI series on home soil. The performances in the first two T20Is will give Mark Boucher’s team hope heading into this one after a great team performance in the second match. A fantastic batting performance in the first match was spoiled by a below par fielding and bowling performance.

They will need to bowl and field with the same quality and intensity that they showed on Monday and also try to keep the likes of Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez quiet if they are to have another great day at the office

Markram to be SA’s Top Batsman at 3.75

Aiden Markram has had a fantastic series so far scoring 105 runs in the first two games at a strike rate of 169.35. He also had a decent ODI series but failed to capitalise on his fantastic starts. Markram was also the Proteas’ best performer with the bat in the Test series in Pakistan, scoring his first century in subcontinent conditions.

He comes into this game in fantastic form after his 54 of 30 balls on Monday. He has recently shown a different side to his game, taking on the bowlers which is something that is needed in the shortest form of the game. If he can learn to capitalise on his starts in limited-overs cricket. he could be a very important player for South Africa in this match and for many years to come

Babar Azam to be Pakistan’s Top Batsman at 3.25

Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam comes into this game on the back of a below par performance from himself and his team. Azam scored a run a ball fifty in an innings that was not as smooth as what we’ve come to expect from him. He scored a century and a 94 in the ODI series and was only bettered by Fakhar Zaman’s performances in the series

Like most world-class batsmen, Azam will be looking to bounce back with the bat so that he can lead his side to victory. A win in Pretoria would put them in a great position as they would not be able to lose the series.
