Pakistan and England face off in the of the seven-match series at the National Stadium in Karachi. Both teams have lost five of their last eight T20Is with the hosts losing their last three. England will be looking to take a 2-0 lead in the series after their six-wicket win in the first match.

Lwanele Poswayo has 3 bets to take for the second T20I.

Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan was Pakistan’s top batsman in the first game and I’m backing him once again. The previous match was the 12th time in 20 matches that he had been Pakistan’s top batsman in T20Is.

He is the number one ranked T20I batsman in the world for a reason and I expect him to put in another fantastic batting performance.

Highest Individual Score

The pitch played surprisingly slow in the first game, but the second will be on a new surface which is why I’d suggest going for the overs for this one. Pakistan were looking good in the first game after a great opening partnership from their two most consistent players and I expect one of them to score over 68.5 runs.

Despite missing a few key players, England still have some destructive batsmen in their team like Dawid Malan, Alex Hales and Moeen Ali who could all score big on their day. The new surface should mean more runs so bet on over 68.5 runs as the highest individual score.

Highest Opening Partnership

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have had six 100+ partnerships since the beginning of 2021 in T20Is. They are both in good form and makeup two of the top three ranked batsmen in T20Is. They put on 85 runs for the 1st wicket in the first match and I’d back them over England’s pair of Phil Salt and Alex Hales.
