IPL 2020: Match 36 – Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab Preview, Prediction, Probable Playing XI and Value bets.
Betting Preview
It’s match number 36 and Mumbai Indians (MI) square off against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. These are two teams who’ve had contrasting times in this tournament so far. Mumbai have lost just two games and are at the top of the points table while Punjab have won just two games and are reeling at the bottom of the points table.
With six wins from eight games, it seems like MI are well and truly on their way to a playoff spot. A top-two spot looks likely as well. The defending champions have looked a class apart and they just seem to have every base covered. The batting is looking rock solid. The bowling is firing on all cylinders and there’s decent variety as well. MI haven’t put a foot wrong and have now extended their winning streak to five. However, there is a new challenge for MI as they need to adapt to different conditions. This will be just their third game outside Abu Dhabi and only second in Dubai.
On the other hand, KXIP will be happy to get the two points against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). It was their second win of the season and both have come against RCB. Chris Gayle infused some much-needed life into the side while the top order continued to fire. It seems like KXIP might’ve finally got their combination right but they need that consistency. The KL Rahul-led side also needs to handle pressure situations better as they almost bottled the last game as well.
