IPL 2020: Match 27 – Mumbai Indians v Delhi Capitals Preview, Prediction, Probable Playing XI and Value bets.
Betting Preview
It’s the clash of the table-toppers as the Mumbai Indians (MI) take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 27th match of this IPL. MI and DC have been the two best teams of IPL 2020, so this match is set up nicely.
MI shrugged off an inconsistent start and have now won three in a row. They boast a formidable line-up and it’s tough to find a weak area in their side. The top-order is solid, the middle-order is powerful and they back themselves to chase down or score runs in the back half. The fast bowling trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and James Pattinson has been key to MI’s success.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals look like the team to beat this IPL. They have had a fantastic run, winning five of their six matches. And with 10 points, they are sitting pretty on the top of the table. Like MI, it’s tough to find a hole in the Delhi line-up. Shikhar Dhawan’s indifferent form may be the only cause for concern. Everyone in their batting order is firing and even when they were four down early, they could rack up 180+ against Rajasthan Royals. Their bowling attack has delivered time and again with Rabada and Nortje complimented well by Ashwin and Patel.
Injury and Availability News
Amit Mishra is ruled out of this entire season.
Probable Playing XI

Key Players to watch out for
Kagiso Rabada: The South Africa ace has been brilliant for DC over the last couple of seasons. In 2019, Rabada ended with 25 wickets and he has picked up where he left last season. He is on 15 wickets in six games and is leading the Purple Cap race. He has invariably picked up wickets and will continue to be Delhi’s match-winner.
Rishabh Pant: The left-handed wicket-keeper batsman has been decent this IPL laking 176 runs at an average of 35.20. But Pant hasn’t taken off and hasn’t set this tournament alight yet. However, he has a good record against Mumbai and his last four scores against them read – 47, 64, 78 not out and 7.
Rohit Sharma: The MI skipper has been in good form this season. He has scored 211 runs and is striking at 145.51. Sharma has led from the front and has been involved in most wins for MI.
