Preview
Here are two teams that are languishing at the bottom of the points table. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) haven’t had the best of starts to this 2020 edition of the IPL. Both teams have had one win and two losses so far.
CSK had a good start as they beat their nemesis of recent times and defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the tournament opener. However, since then, they’ve faltered in two successive games. The MS Dhoni-led side have shown very little intent in their run chases in the last two games. The bowling has gone for plenty and CSK will be desperate to turn things around. They are not known to lose too many games on the bounce. The return of Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo from their respective injuries should give the three-time champions a big boost.
Meanwhile, SRH lost two games in a row to start the season. They completely lost the plot against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from a very strong and winning position. On the other hand, they were outplayed by a strong Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team. But SRH will be happy with the way they came back against Delhi Capitals (DC). The team balance was better and the addition of Kane Williamson bolstered the middle-order and he made the difference. And the bowling came together nicely as well.
However, SRH are up against a team they don’t have a great record against. They’ve won just three out of the 12 games they’ve played against CSK so far.

Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo are fit and will be available for selection for this game.

Key Players to watch out for
Sam Curran: The left-handed seam-bowling all-rounder has been very effective with both bat and ball in this tournament so far. Curran is leading the wicket charts for CSK (five wickets) and has a strike-rate of 257.14 with the bat. He will be the one to watch out for.
David Warner: It’s been a slightly sluggish start for Warner this season. It’s unusual to see him not convert his starts. However, he is hitting the ball well. Hence, the SRH skipper will be raring to have another crack and go big. Moreover, in his last five innings against CSK, Warner has smashed five half-centuries.
Ambati Rayudu: CSK missed Rayudu badly in the last couple of games and his returns gives some solidity to the middle-order. He looked in fine touch in the first game and will want to carry that form. Also, Rayudu has a good record against SRH, scoring 447 runs at an average of 49.66.
