Preview
It’s the battle of two of biggest cricketers in India at the moment. It’s Virat Kohli vs Rohit Sharma in the tenth match of IPL 2020. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Virat Kohli’s RCB have had two contrasting games so far. They came back from behind and defended 43 in the last five overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). But their perennial problems came to the fore once again when they faced Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Their bowlers leaked a plethora of runs at the death allowing the momentum to drift away. Meanwhile, the batting crumbled under pressure and the three-time finalists eventually lost by a huge margin. They will want to get things back on track.
However, it won’t be easy for them as they face the four-time champions Mumbai Indians. Like almost every season, the Rohit Sharma-led side dropped their first game and lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, they came back very strongly against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and played a near-perfect game. The batsmen got runs and the bowlers were right on the money as well. Hence, they are already looking dangerous.
Moreover, MI have the wood over RCB as far as head to head record is concerned. MI have won 16 games while RCB have won just 9. Therefore, it is no surprise to see Mumbai start as favourites in this game.
Injury and Availability News
Chris Morris suffered a side strain in the pre-season camp and has missed the first two games for RCB. There is no news on his fitness yet.

In fact, he has looked threatening every time he has come on to bowl. He will definitely be the one to watch out for. Moreover, he has a decent record against Mumbai, taking 16 wickets in 11 games.
Virat Kohli: The RCB skipper hasn’t had the best of starts to the season. He has had scores of 14 and 1 and will be desperate to turn things around in this big game for RCB.
