They will have three new faces in their T20I squad in the form of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan and Rahul Tewatia. Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant will make a comeback into the T20I squad after a superb performance in the test matches.

Players like Jos Butler, Moeen Ali and Jonny Bairstow come into this series well rested and raring to go after they were allowed to go home during the test series. They do not have any fresh injury worries heading into the game on Friday which will make selection easier for Chris Silverwood
