India’s form in this format has not been great but I do expect them to fight back to level the series. The hosts going into this one as favourites again could be based on the fact that Australia are missing some key players and them being the home side.

The toss could be key here with the chasing side winning 15 of the last 16 T20Is involving Australia. Waiting for the toss could be crucial for this match but I do back India nonetheless.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav has been in the form of his life in this format which has seen him rise to third in the T20I rankings. Yadav was unfortunate not to be the winner in Mohali after a fantastic 46 off 25 balls. It was a difficult choice between him and Hardik Pandya for India’s top batsman but I went with Yadav as he bats slightly higher than the all-rounder.

Yadav has been India’s top batter in 7/29 T20Is and I’m backing him for this one.

Josh Hazelwood

The number one ranked T20I bowler in the world for a reason, Josh Hazlewood, has arguably been Australia’s best bowler in this format since the beginning of last year. He has taken at least two wickets in six of his last eight T20Is including the previous match between these two sides.
