The NBA season is well and truly underway, and punter has prepared some betting tips for tomorrow morning’s matches. He covers four of tomorrow morning’s games.
25 Oct 01:10 Philadelphia 76ers v Indiana Pacers
The 76ers are heavy favourites for this considering they are playing at home and have the better team overall. But the 76ers have not been playing well and their 3 losses in 3 games are proof of this. They had a good game against Boston but other than that they haven’t been shooting the ball well. Now the 76ers should win this game but I don’t see them covering the spread, based on their shooting the line is too high for them. Tyrese Haliburton has really started the season well and is averaging 25 PGM and 9 assists PGM, he also has fewer turnovers per game compared to 76ers talisman Joel Embiid whos averaging 4 PGM. I trust the Pacers to come as underdogs and cover the spread as they have in their last 3 against the Philly side.
25 Oct 02:00 Chicago Bulls v Boston Celtics
Ime Udoka may have left the Celtics but they are still playing as well as they were last season. The Celtics are better than the Bulls defensively and offensively. Jason Tatum usually starts the season slowly but he is already averaging 34.7 points per game. The Bulls may have a home-court advantage but the Celtics are coming in hot opening the season 3-0 whilst the Bulls are 1-3 and losing their last 2. They were blown out against the Cavs and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Celtics blew them away here.
25 Oct 02:10 Houston Rockets v Utah Jazz
Utah Jazz traded away all their best players but they are currently sitting on top of the western conference. They have played three games in which two of those they won in overtime. The Rockets are looking like they will have yet another season below .500. Utah Jazz has won 3 games whilst the Rockets have lost 3 games, Go for Utah.
25 Oct 02:10 Memphis Grizzlies v Brooklyn Nets
The last time the Nets beat the Grizzlies was in 2019, so the Nets have lost 8 straight games to the Grizzlies. The Nets do not have a rim protector, we saw this last season and earlier in their season opener. Now without a rim protector, I see Ja Morant having an excellent game here. Ja is averaging 34 points per game while Kevin Durant is averaging 29. This game will have lots of shooting and we know both teams aren’t good defensively so another good bet here would be the over.
